When did you travel into the artistic world ??
When I was about 15, 16 years old, I first accessed to Photoshop, I found it really interesting and I was attracted to the miracle of Photo manipulation. I first uploaded to DeviantArt in 2009 and simultaneously joined some Vietnamese forums for amateur artists. Till 2011, I knew about Shadowness and created an account here. Now, I mainly focus my works on this site.
What is your plans for the future??
Currently I’m studying at a multimedia college so my first and foremost aim is to finish my study. After that I may go abroad for higher education about graphic design major if possible then became a freelance, otherwise I will apply for a advertising company or a graphic design studio in Vietnam.
Name 3 people that has been your inspiration?
My inspiration doesn’t actually come from any artists. I have visited many other artists’ gallery and seen their artworks, however I always want to create my own style, my own way of art. From my artwork you can easily realize that I don’t let myself be fixed in any particular style but keep experiencing new elements, new tools, new skills in my work so that I can come close to my ideal perfection.
Tell us about your artwork – What thoughts you have when you work?
I always try to find an idea and inspiration before create something. Naturally, as any artists who choose to pursue this career seriously, I want my work to be creative, unique and leave a strong impression on anyone’s visual sense.
How often do you make your art?
Well, it depends on my inspiration *laugh* you know how artists work. The idea just suddenly flashes -like lighting- and I catch it then turn it into shape and color. There’re times when I’m art-blocked and hardly draw anything satisfactory.
In the end, I can say that I try to draw and challenge myself as much as possible. Whenever I have free time, I always doodle something to keep myself working and practicing.
Did you exhibit your work somewhere?
No, I haven’t got a chance yet. In Vietnam, there are not many galleries for digital artists. In the near future, I’m going to take part in some small exhibitions held by my school.
What is your biggest dream ?
This kind of question is really hard to find a proper answer for myself. For the time being, I only want to be successful as a digital artist.
